Building a culture roadmap for a midsize organization

The organization was already investing in culture. Its challenge was that separate initiatives did not yet add up to a coherent strategy, and leadership support was inconsistent. A roadmap gave the work a sequence and a clearer connection to business priorities.

The situation

Culture work can become a collection of good ideas competing for attention. Without a shared view of what matters most, even useful initiatives can lose momentum. Here, the company needed to connect its culture efforts to business goals and make leadership responsibility more explicit.

What we examined

The presenting issue was not a shortage of initiatives. It was the absence of a coherent path through them. The roadmap work focused on priorities, sequencing, milestones, and the accountability needed to keep culture from becoming a side project.

The work

I developed a structured, multi-year culture roadmap that brought the separate efforts into a more intentional plan. It connected culture priorities to organizational goals and set out milestones and accountability so leaders could see how the pieces fit together and what needed attention over time.

What the work produced

The deliverable was a practical direction for the culture work: a sequence of priorities and a framework for leadership ownership. It made the next choices more explicit instead of leaving each culture initiative to compete for attention on its own.

If this sounds familiar

If your culture initiatives keep multiplying without a clear path, explore organizational change consulting or start a conversation about what should come first.
